Oh wow!
What an awesome conclusion to the excellent Raven triogies - sad but very good none the less. That and Auum makes an appearance so that equals me happy.
The story you ask well I was getting to that. The Raven have retired - they go unrecognised in Balaia hunted for their apparent 'power'. So they take to the Elven continent, resigned to living out the rest of their lives peacefully. But that can not happen, in the middle of the night Hirad is awoken by an old friend who seems to be in danger - but how can he? He's dead right? This leads the Raven to believe something might be amiss in their old home and they travel there to find out what.
The ending is horrible - simply horrible - don't say I didn't warn you! (I don't mean writen horrible of course ust very very very sad) Grab some tissues - lots of them! Trust me.
