Now this book I enjoyed. After having to read The Eyes of God a couple of times and finally getting into it on the last attempt, this book was an absolute breeze. Lukien is such a likeable character as is Gilwyn and Minikin. But Thorin has always been a bit of a loose cannon to me - I never took a greta shining to him at all.The story? Well it is about how Thorin takes the armour inhabited by a powerful Akari all to himself to save Liiria from Jazana Carr, but things don't work out exactly that way - Khaladris has other ideas for what he wants Throin to do....

This book was truely awe-inspiring - I loved it for the minute I started to the last page. I haven't read a book so quickly in such a long time so it was nice to be able to have a book that made me do this again. I started reading it late in the night and before I knew it it was 2.30am! No wonder my eyes had started falling out of my head, but even then I just couldn't STOP!
I really didn't enjoy this book. It was long, drawn out and really boring. The characters were not likeable, the storyline lacked something and everything just seemed a re-hash of every other fantasy book I have read before. I loved Otherland and liked Memory, Sorrow and Thorn but this last book was a dismal effort that doesn't even have the right to bare Tad's awesome name.
This cute little story details how Yoda goes to a secret meeting with Dooku to get sme form of 'peace' happening instead of the war. But both know that it is a sham.
I know I know it's a kids book but BOBA FETT! Though I was dissapointed by this story - does this mean no Fett in Episode 3? That's a crime.

Over the years Uthred loves Ragnar like a father and calls himself a Dane. But when he finds himself in a procarious situation Uthred has to decide where his alligances lie.
